If you are going to dismiss a significant number of well educated scientists who believe humans have shifted climate patterns, then I am sure you are busy working on more eloquent and thoughtful comments (as opposed to, say, "they are crackpots"). And of course I am sure you are aware that record lows in late winter are part of the climate change projections. I appreciate you attacking my sources. Thanks. But I read your link and it was a typical spewing of liberal crap if you will pardon my frankness.

This "blog author" does a wonderful job of telling us how big of a phony Ball is, except that... there are no sources... Hmmmm... In fact, of the 6 links I clicked on, 5 of them were links to archived posts from the same blog. Unless of course you're calling the NRSP a bunch of liars. Which I'm sure you could do. But I'll believe the Natural Resources Stewardship Project before I'll believe a blog who states on their homepage:

The science of global warming is nowhere near confirmed. Take a look at http://www.globalwarming-factorfiction.com and you will quickly see that there are intelligent and considerate arguments on both sides of the line. We simply do not know enough, one way or another, to make any definitive comments. The IPCC should call for huge investments in climate information gathering and modeling rather than gigantic investments to prevent something that may not be happening. Is the sky falling - know one really knows.
 

I love how Global Cooling morphed into Global Warming which is now morphing into Climate Change. That way, any weather anywhere anytime can be blamed on mankind. How convenient!

The earth has been warming for the past 18,000 years, since the last ice age. That's why we are not in the ice age anymore. During this long, general warming trend, there have been minor variations. Minor geologically speaking, which means they lasted 10 or 20 or even 100 years. See the medieval warm period or the little ice age for a couple examples. The cycles of ice ages and warming trends appear to be involved with solar radiation cycles, but nobody really knows for sure. What we do know is that the earth's climate over the past 4.5 billion years appears to consist of cycles inside of cycles inside of still more cycles.

What we do know is that CO2 is a minor greenhouse gas, and the geological record appears to indicate that CO2 concentrations increase AFTER the earth enters another warming cycle. In other words, it is an effect, not a cause.

What I know is that nobody knows, and to attack scientists who have a contrary opinion smacks of religion, not science. The various climate feedback mechanisms, both positive and negative, are largely unknown. So in the frightening climate models, they are ignored or assigned values guaranteed to produce increased warming.

I also know that the "solutions" proposed to anthroporgenic Global Cooling, er Global Warming, er Climate Change mostly involve the transfers of vast amounts of money. Transfers from evil America to the all-knowing and terribly concerned UN. This will have to go on for decades so that the UN can build the proper bureaucracy and fund the proper studies and implement the proper solutions.

Everyone should know that satellite global temperature measurements since 1998 show no global temperature increase. And that the Antarctic ice cap is getting thicker. And that some geologists expect an approximately 50 year cooling cycle to occur in the earth's climate in the near future, as part of regular cycles seen in the geologic records.

Lastly, a warmer earth has been beneficial to life. As it continues to warm until the next ice age, it should become increasingly so.
 

Get over it. Global warming doesn't exist. Now get to Central Asia and destroy the Muslim threat. Don't come home until every last barbarian is destroyed!
